Over the past number of months, local start-up companies had the chance to work with students from Canadore College’s graphic design program to expand their online presence.
Congratulations to Graphic Design student Amanda Wall on her redesign of the Panther Radio logo. The new design can be seen throughout the radio program and on www.thepanther.ca
There was a great turn out at this years Graphic Design showcase which was held at the Capital Centre. The Graphic Design student put on a wonderful show displaying their amazing designs and creations. Feedback from family, faculty, students and industry professionals has been extremely positive. Congratulations to Erik Ruhnke. His design “Natures Abstraction!” placed 3rd in the ACCC’s Call for Talent: Transformations Competition. Many designs and art pieces were submitted from Colleges across Canada. This a great achievement.

Congratulations to Matthew Kuka. His logo has been chosen by his class to represent their graduating year of 2015. Classmates are purchasing jackets with his logo embroidered on them. Keep and eye out for them around campus.
Student Water Colour Illustrations are displayed at the StartFragmentAlzheimer’s Society Art Auction/Exhibition. StartFragmentErik McManus and Andrea Burton both won prizes for their pieces.
Graduate Add Degane won a design competition. Her pin design is begin used for North Bay Synchronized Skating.
