Applied Arts Award goes to Giao Bùi

Congratulations to one of our stand-out graphic design students, Giao Bùi.

Completed in F2019 GRD359 Motion Graphics, Giao’s kinetic typography piece won a student award with Applied Arts. 

“My short kinetic typography video features ‘To Be Human’ by Marina and it is about the unity of human beings. This theme prompted my idea of using a pallet of human skin tones as my colour scheme and the use of human images as the primary images in the video. I chose two different fonts, which were a script font and san-serif font for their elegance and aesthetics.” – Giao Bùi
