Project Description

Project Brief

Photography and illustration converge to create an expressive self portrait. Create a hybrid drawing by merging photgraphy and illustration.

Follow the design process and create a logo that will brand yourself as a designer.

Brainstorm your interests, skills, talents, and career objective and use it your support your icon, typography, and colour choices.

Student Approach

“The photography was shot by the utilization fo the built-in self-timer in my Nikon DSLR. The sketches of self were drawn digitally. The custom Photoshop brushes were traditionally crafted before they were digitally refined. A combination of the custom Photoshop brushes and royalty free brushes enhanced the photography. All of the elements unite to create an honest self portrait. All of the elements showcase my creative passions and skill sets.” – Angela Sackanay
